Academic Studies and Music , The perfect balance

i'm actually taking o'levels this year ...

im doing o levels too. haha. at least i manage to consistently get top 10 in 4E2.. (only 2 4E classes in the level). there was one period where i totally chiong dnt folio, didnt touch my guitar for 3 weeks.

since then i have been playing, 45min a day. i watch a few tv programmes here and there, and of course i touch my homework before everything larh (except sometimes when its work i hate doing  )

i used to take 7 subjects, which took up ALL my free time. so i dropped art and now i have much more time to concentrate on other subjects, as well as more leisure time.

like bductape, i'll gauge my priorities now..

50% studies
25% girl - yes one girl only lah. haha.
20% leisure
5% CCA - although stepped down, still contributing cos i wanna be a CI in NPCC in december.

wah u all talk abt juggling studies with music, i juggle music with NS, family and friends, meaning i only have about <6 hours every 2 weeks to actually jam or write songs or whatever, that sucks eh?

i study and play music as well. There has never been a conflict.

do realise that your music is what is pushing you to study. Eg. if you play the guitar, certain songs yuo play WILL make you motivated to pick up your homework and start doing.

if you only feel like abandoning all your school work whenever you play the music, then you're not allowing your music to help you.

For me, I am Full-Time working, Part-Time studying (non-music course).
Song writing normally take place in night time after back from school (if there is classes) or work (if OT), & occasionally practice music instruments on weekends.
Normally for weekdays, I sleep about 2am~3am, wake up @ 7am.
Hm...
Quite fully packed, but enjoyed.

Now that the academic year for poly has commenced , whenever I come home in the evening after all the studying and leisure time I spend in school , I'm just too shagged to practice. Most of the time is I force myself to practice for my own good.

Although some of you might think otherwise that music should not be forced upon , I feel that I have no other alternative choices...

Before poly started , it was an entirely different story. I had freaking loads of free time everyday until I don't know what to do with my life....
