Okie.. so here's my story....
At the beginning of June, I bought a Hartke 3500a amp + 410xl cabinet. The amp is rated 350 watts @ 4 ohms and 250 watts @ 8 ohms. The 410xl is 8 ohms load so I take it my amp is drawing 250 watts power?
At home, the master volume is always at 1 and never ever louder than 1.5 (0 being lowest and 10 loudest)
I just got me June electricity bill and was shocked! My electricity usage was much much more than normal! My normal is about 394 units, and this month of june is 564! a jump of 170 extra units!
The only new thing this month is the new amp I bought, my other electricity usage is as normal. So I can only think of the explanation of the new amp.
So my question is does a 350 watt amp, at only 1 or 1.5 master volume, can incur so much extra electricity usage?
