Hi all,
I have a pair of MIJ Boss DS-1 for sale, both are black labels.
The first one is a silver screw model, and is a totally original piece purchased from Japan. Works 100% and is in pretty decent condition, some paint scratches from being used over the years. Serial number 385100, which means produced in Japan, January 1984. This is the original ACA power supply version, so you have to either use a BOSS ACA power supply, or just stick to using a normal 9-Volt battery. Asking for $150.
The second one is more interesting, I purchased it from a gentleman here on SOFT as a non-functional piece, and I've spent quite some time and effort to troubleshoot and repair it with new parts ordered from overseas. Now it is working properly and also modified to accept a normal 9-volt power PSA supply instead of the ACA version. 9-Volt battery works just fine, too.
This piece is a black screw version, and serial number is 297700, made in Japan April 1983. Asking for $100 o.b.o.
