I thought Satriani's custom 7 string JS on the G3 dvd was pretty cool... the low end had this nice, rounded, slightly flubbery growl to it. I liked that.

i own a rg7621m and a yamaha aes-rs7 and both of them played like buttah. the rs7 plays like an ibanez surprisingly. imho, ibanez and carvin makes one of best 7-stringers in terms of playability. they are like the strats of the 7-string world.

i did owned a schecter blackjack 007 and wasn't too happy with its playability. neck and body was too girthy for me.

out of the ibanez available here, i will go with a rg1527 followed by s7320 and rg7321.

i just got a s7320 loaded with emg 817 neck n brigde....sound really good.....perfect match for me....sound really heavy.... now planing to get a uv777... anyway the s7 neck feels better than the uv neck to me.........and the zr tem is cool too....

hhnmmm.....over at sevenstring.forum.org states when comes to active pickups....tone is gather more from the pups rather than the wood.... but why i choose 81-7 cos its has the highest output..... unless someone can bring in lundgren pickups.....M7 which is design by messhuga.....anyway im happy wit my guitar now...its wicked

i think the neck on the S7320 feels pretty similar to my carvin, which i love =)
