15 watt amps galore!

hey guys. just wondering which 15w amps you guys are using? dont have much space in my house so im sourcing for a kick ass 15watt amp to purchase. keep the posts coming!

Hmm... I use to own a roland cube 15. It was pretty good

Laney VC15-110... The biggest sounding 15W amp I've ever come across... And it's tube powered. LC15R also, but doesn't sound as big as the VC.

THD univalve, I have the 2x12 cab but 99% of the time I mostly used it with a speaker sim. Lately I have been using an axe-fx unit.

Power! I used to have that amp, it took my PodXT Live and pedals very well. Pity abt the lack of a midrange control. Sounded really gd, whether on clean or with my efx, in my opinion the best 15w amp money can buy.

I haven't tried the Laney LC15 or VC15 but i think that they sound quite gd for that price range.

the epiphone valve junior is a beauty! does it take pedals well ? haven't heard the sound yet. so far, i only recall seeing it at swee lee. what about line6's spider amps people? they any good?

i've been reading up on alot of pretty good reviews on the vox pathfinder 15r. any worthy competitors? i was thinking of getting a tube amp rather than a ss amp. any recommendations? cheap too!

Yeah, the valve junior takes pedals really well. More pedal tweaking then amp tweaking, only got the volume knob there.

btw, how much's the valve jr ? only swee lee carries it right? was seriously considering getting a marshall microstack once.

Best bet is to call 'em up, or you can look for it online, or maybe even on soft.
I liked the microstacks, very good amps, but I didn't try them with pedals or for a long time, but seems reasonably priced for and good for dollar to value rate.

Testing it out yourself is still the most important.

Missed so much of my tech 21 trademark 120 at my hometown... :sad:
