SIngers songwriters - call to action!
With a host of international singer songwriters gracing our shores in recent months, like kings of convenience, damien rice, jason mraz, eddie reader...and jamie cullum (almost till his tour got postponed) the zouk team are eager to hear singapore's own singing - songwriting talents.
With quiet being the new loud, we want to keep the musical elemnts as simple as possible, letting the words, voices and melodies speak for themselves.
And as Pluck and Play's main objective is to celebrate local creativity, originality and personal truth we're looking at original compositions only.
Whether solo or part of a two-piece, your instrument a guitar, keyboard, horn, drum or, laptop, if you can carry it yourself it qualifies.
Each performer has 10 minutes to perform 2 to 3 songs, whichever comes first.
If you're keen to participate in the inaugural Pluck and Play, send in your demo cd or mp3s of your two songs to be performed to:
