met up with brother Koi yesterday to have his guitar looked into (Bt Batok area):

*Re-string
*Fretboard re-conditioned
*Neck bow reduced
*Action lowered

if you are in the bt batok neighbourhood, i'd be glad to help :)

latest re-string adventure involved a little more technicality pertaining to set-up which i was glad to oversee:

*neck pocket shimming to rectify neck tilt
*overall action adjustments
*Floyd Rose bridge- re-set up

done- Jackson PS-37, all good to go :)

had this bass for re-stringing but the neck tilt was so... wrong (for want of a better word). had it shimmed so that the action won't be ridiculously high past the 15th fret...

did a set-up for the above guitar recently:

*re-string + Drop C tuning
*re-moisturized fretboard
*action adjustments

Got this guitar recently, that had this kind of re-stringing technique. Have only seen this technique about twice only so far.

it's actually wedging the loose tip in between the coils, some say this prevents movements there, hence holding the tuning better.
