Nuendo 3 Buzzing noise and lag during playback!!!

Hi all. Im experiencing buzzing sound and lag during play back or rec when I have 18 tracks but I dont experience this when I have only a few tracks. May i know if it's due to the computer RAM im having as my computer ram has only a 1.4G RAM. Just wanna know whether issit the RAM prob cos if it's so then im planning to get more RAM for my computer

What audio interface and laptop specs? 18 tracks is indeed loads. And worse if got plugins on them

Im using a line 6 pod studi gx. Im using a desktop which has a processor of 2.8 Ghz an onboard graphic card which sucks and a 1.4G RAM basically it's a four years old desktop.

And my daw is 2.4ghz 2gb ram. Haha.well 18 tracks is a little heavy you may have to mix some. bounce to stereo and recreate another session.you can try upgrade your ram first if not be prepared to upgrade the whole pc.

Reduce the use of vst plugins in those 18 tracks.
If not bounce/freeze em.

Try increasing buffer latency,
Try close all other non audio related softwares and antivirus and disable wifi and lan see if it helps

just make me wonder why are you using a expensive software with a lower range laptop?
or you didn't buy the application... did you.
