Hahahaha!!!!! kinda bored right now.... and was wondering are there anyone out there who writes poems and lyrics of their own...... post it here so we can view it and might even talk bout it......

Here mine:

Drowning in a world of sorrow
The unknown feeling keeps coming back
Haunting me night and day, catching me off my guard
Push aside this stranger, she keeps coming back
Ignored it once but the pull too strong
I’m left helpless sinking deeper and deeper
This heart is said to be made of stones, but none knows the real me….

As I stand here in the rain let it cleanse my skin and purify my soul
Take away all the sins and wronged I’ve done
The endless pit is growing darker falling into infinity
The place of solitude I’m trying to find, now fill the void that’s burning in me

This looks like a poem, no?

Heh heh...ever tried putting a tune to it? If you turn it into a song, you'd have broken off from the verse chorus structure and created something fresh, man! Can't say it'll be 100% original cos I'm no authority, but in the SOFTie rock world (or pop world, metal world....) it'd be something interesting :lol:

Anyway, nice poem, albeit a tad melancholic.
