Jrock in SG

初めましてGreetings to all,

A newbie here.
Been in SOFT for a while and like it here, this is my 1st post and hope it is a meaningful 1...

I find that Jrock scene in SG existed but quite hidden (tat's how i feel...)
Tried google Jrock in sg.... viola.... There's a forum Jrock.sg....
just when i got excited and register for it..... all the threads in the forum are just pure junks... advertisements for Viagra, etc.......-_-...

Then 2 weeks ago, attended SSF Youth Park DJ Party (till now still cannot understand y it's called DJ party... where all are Jrock/Jpop Bands....-_-..)
Anyway, was very happy and surprise to see the number of bands lineup...
Lila, Slave, Aries Kaiser, Electric Scarlet, Child's Play, Rayve, Lemon, Viscid, Kiseki, Weekend Vacancy, One More Stop, Ethe"Real, Quis, Saiko Sex, Myraid, Slapshocked.
Cheers to you guys, wonderful performance Though level of skills may varies, Passion for Jrock/Jpop is 最高（さいこう）saikou!!!!
Hope to join u guys next year (my band was too late to register as we just formed up not long ago... thru SOFT.... kudos to SOFT)

Having said all these, SOFT being a wonderful platform to reach out to all genres of musician in sg (Kudos to SOFT again...XD)
I would like to start or form up a niche group or community of Jrock/Jpop musician where we are hang out, exchange pointers, share info, chill out or even organise mini gigs.... Afterall, we all have the same passion for Jstuff....

So Jbands (either listed above or not) if we do have the same thinking and frequency... do throw a post or pm..
together i'm sure we can work out something..
Feel free to pass the msg around too...
Hope to gather as many Jbands in SG as possible.

Think i shall have short a intro to start the ball rolling.
was into Jrock while in Poly days.
1st album bought was Heavy Gauge (Glay) in 1999 (Gosh.... 10 years ago.... sh1t did i just reveal my age....XD..) and was totally hooked by their music, style and arrangement and lyrics.
Then slowly venture into X-Japan, L'Arc en ciel, Luna Sea, Dir En Grey, etc... so i started from that era... but i realise songs from that era dun die (YEAH... Rock on!)
then 2 and half years in Tekong (Army) makes me lost touch with the real world....-_-..
After Army busy work and study and so till now still hanging on to old songs..
Do intro me new bands and their songs...

Personally started off as drummer in Poly days...been performing for years but not in open gig or competition or pub, rather in private functions. mostly are oldies, english rock, chinese rock and pop and tiny bit of Jstuff.
But being most interested to sing Jrock, i joined my band as a vox.
So... can i sing or am i able to sing.....we can further discuss with fellow vox...
if we manage to create a group that is.....

galneryus, b'z, siam shade, tokyo jihen, x japan, abingdon boys school, anthem, do as infinity...lots more...
wide range...from j-poprock to j-metal...haha...but not so much into vk stuff.

Bassist here. Influence includes L'Arc en ciel mainly.. haha.. but getting influenced by band members into Dir en grey etc etc as well. Jpop influences varies.

Have to support a jrock thread man. Haha
