what happens when i order from em?
i understand that ishibashi uses EMS to deliver.. does it deliver to my doorstep or does it stop at singpost, where i have to pick it up?
do i pay GST at singpost then?

last qns, if i can't make it on that day, can i ask my friend to collect it for me?

I never order from there.
but as what I know for EMS from japan,
it is equivalent to speedpost.
you can atcually track it in http://www.post.japanpost.jp/english/tracking/index.html when it still in Japan & in http://www.speedpost.com.sg/speedpost_services_track.asp?type=3 when it reach Singapore.

It will deliver to your door step by singpost.
anyone can sign & receive it for you.
but if nobody not around,
they will leave a notice slip in your letter box.
You can always...
1. arrange for another delivery (they only deliver at day time), or
2. arrange for transfer it to one of your desire post office, for you (or your friend, with that slip & your authorisation signature) to collect yourself.
