Condition:
Like new, owned from Feb, 2014, original owner, perfect working condition; still perfectly under 2 yr warranty (just show receipt, no need to mail it), with original box and 1/4 adaptor.
Reason for selling:
As much as I love the sound, my head shape seems 'destined' for 'Audio technica', seriously.
My loss is your gain. You save $60 on new cans with a valid warranty.

FAQ 1 - are they easy to drive?
Like the 32ohm spec says - very easy.
FAQ 2 Isolation?
I'm more of an 'open' can person so this is my 1st experience with 'closed' audiophile cans.
All can say is the f16 jet outside sounds softer, really.

My own review, in a nutshell is - it's the classic AKG sound signature - you know, smooth mid range. Compared to the 242 studio - the k550 has a more generous bass; high frequencies are there, but more gentle.
