The music business is definitely going to change big time. Due to technology and consumation pattern, we will see phone companies becoming the platform for music distribution.

The phone companies are the ones with the cash and they need to sell more phones every year.

I always wonder y record companies never embrace mp3s dloading but instead try to come up with ways to go against it. Till now, there isnt many legal dloading portals for music (itunes is still not available here) even sites like soundbuzz doesnt have much variety. They shld have shifted their focus when mp3s came out.
