There are very few bands that can be described as “Legends” but Buzzcocks certainly deserve that title. The godfathers of punk-pop will be in Singapore on the 27th of November 2009 at Zirca to deliver a staggering fast paced live set. With supporting acts, Abuse The Youth and ETC.

Buzzcocks - a band with a past, present, and future, and a legacy never imagined as witnesses and part of the very birth of punk rock. Buzzcocks were the original pop punk rockers making their live debut with the Sex Pistols in 1976.

Buzzcocks developed their pop-punk sound which later influenced bands such as Green Day, Nirvana,The Libertines, The Strokes and The Offspring.

In 2006, Buzzcocks received the Mojo Inspiration award in recognition of their continuing contribution to rock music

Buzzcocks comprise of original members Pete Shelley (vocals) and Steve Diggle (guitar) with new additions Chris Remington (bass) and Danny Farrant (drums)

just saw them the past weekend at KL.
basically played almost an hour long set, though i guess they're here more on holiday as after soundcheck they didnt even bother to hang around to listen to any of the 6 opening bands...cant blame them tho as they were 6...should've just left it at carburetor dung and subculture as opening bands.
even after the opening bands were done, they took awhile to get back from wherever they went, maybe for some chow kit specials :p
