SUFFOCATION - Suffocation is an American death metal band formed in 1988 in Centereach, New York, currently consisting of lead guitarist Terrance Hobbs, bassist Derek Boyer, rhythm guitarist Charlie Errigo, drummer Eric Morotti, and vocalist Ricky Myers. The band rose to prominence with their 1991 debut album Effigy of the Forgotten, which became a blueprint for death metal in the 1990s. Since then, Suffocation has recorded nine albums. These feature growled vocals with downtuned guitars, fast and complex guitar riffs and drumming, open chord notes and occasional breakdowns.
GATECREEPER (USA) - Gatecreeper is an American death metal band from Phoenix, Arizona. They have released a self-titled four song EP in 2014, a split with the band Take Over and Destroy in 2015, and in 2016, the band was featured on a split with Homewrecker, Outer Heaven, and Scorched. In 2016, Gatecreeper released their debut full-length album on Relapse Records titled Sonoran Depravation. In August of 2019, Gatecreeper announced their new album Deserted, that was released on October 4, 2019 on Relapse Records. Loudwire named it one of the 50 best metal albums of 2019. In January 2021, they released An Unexpected Reality. The album was ranked number fourteen on Revolver's list of the "25 Best Albums of 2021".
Both bands will perform in Singapore at SUNDAY METAL SERVICE II on 31st March 2024 as part of their Asian / Australian Tour 2024.
