i got literally friggin' ROBBED ! :(

well , honestly, the world is getting corrupted. and these mindsets of gangsters will never change. i wonder how they'd live in the USA.

anyway, i got this form that the police gave me. some medical report thing. i was asked to consult the doctor for my injuries and i could choose to sue em if they get caught. but its optional. i got a few blows on my head. some i gave em . and my knucles hurt. well , its over .

my friend cannot be blamed . he was just in a state of shock. but then , when i wanted to really fight back , looking at my friend gave me no confidence or courage. so i had to back off and protect rather than kick thier ass as much as i can. but whats the point when in the end u get ganged by all of em. my friend didnt get assaulted btw. maybe cuz he was 'listening to instructions' . stand there do nth see free show. damnn.
the feeling sucks uh . and my hols are ruined. i cant stay overnight outside anymore.
extra concerns from parents. woahhhhhhhhhh.

wah so happening!

why don't i ever see such kid gangs in action! it'll be a decent excuse to execute some normally restrained martial arts!

^^doesn't help if there's a dozen of them. it only works in old kungfu movies bro
unless you're donnie yen

In my younger, wilder days, I would have swung the lap top at any of the perpetartors heads and make sure i took I few of their teeth along ... (actually I was more into swinging skateboards)

Over the years, seen too much bad shyyte goin down so ..

Of course nowdays I think the best is to report to the police let them deal with it. You could never tell if them MOFOs who attacked U were armed or not and a lost HP is better than a hand cut off at the wrist on the ground...

Sorry to hear about ur incident bro and may the cops get the ass-wipes who did it!

i would sue the crap out of them till they can't afford they're power bills hahaha , can't be gangster without the lights and water on . Get a hell good lawyer .

not the weak. they gang up on ppl that they outnumbered. that's y they r called gangsters.

Learn aikido.. A friend of mine was constantly bullied.. He learnt aikido.. And he could take on 3 people at once easily..
Aikido is more of a defensive set of skills.. I may be a black belt at taekwando, but it is hell useless against them.. He simply grabbed my leg and slam me down when we practiced.. Lol..

But then again, my friend who got beat up and went to ICU was better in aikido then he was.. Beaten up by sheer force that one.. One quick and powerful blow to the head and my friend was unconscious..
You wanna retaliate also gotta be careful.. These gangsters are weaklings.. Not only do they gang up in groups, but some carry weapons along for added protection.. Wimps.. Can't even win a fair fight..

Individually, they are a bunch of pathetic cowards acting garang in a group. And they will look equally pathetic as they plead for leniency after the judge sentenced them to 7 years and 12 strokes of rotan.

WTF.....I kanna called out at bukit merah before(typical gangster ask me stare what, so ridiculous), but I never knew something so serious could happen in Singapore(practically mugged you man) let alone near my neighborhood.

In the words of kungpow, 'Your story makes my heart heavy and my prostate weak. My bladder is filled to burst. I feel for you and your great loss.'

hmm, damn i feel for you bro..

not trying to be racist but ive always hated this malay mats.

they make the rest of the malay community look bad.

and im malay..

Don't talk big luh you all.
Dont act tough in these kinda situations man.

#1 you were out numbered and you dont know if they were armed, if you Slash one of them, they might forget the robbery and just kick the sh!t out of you and prolly kill one of you

#2 you dont know how many else there were

#3 you were outnumbered

#4 those are just items, value your life more. Remember faces, report and nab them.

First off, sorry to hear abt your experience. This is what I would advise/suggest you to do:

The police has a lot on their hands, especially these days. As with any govt agencies they will prioritise their resources accordingly. Your case does not involve any injuries (except for some bruising for you) so they may not be exactly putting a lot of attention in solving it. You need to raise the "profile" of your incident. You should get your parents to write to the MP for Bukit Merah (here's the link: AbtUs/OrgStr/Members of Parliament/TanjongPagar). Some points to stress -

a) crime took place in a public place (i.e. not in some secluded/remote area)
b) incident was unprovoked (i.e. you and your friend were minding your own business)
c) you and your friend were engaged in studies
d) yours is not an isolated incident (remember you were told that the same sort of crime has taken place in the same neighbourhood probably by the same gang)
e) the police need to act urgently to apprehend these gang members to prevent further incidents to innocent members of the public
f) your parents are in a great anxiety over safety of their children

The letter should perhaps be copied to the Commandant of the Central Police Divisional HQ (link is : Singapore Police Force - Contact Us).

Quite often, people don't report crimes for a variety of reasons. You have done so, but I think you should do as much as possible to help the police. Since you are on your holidays, perhaps you can go around the neighbourhood (I'm assuming you may recognise some of the gang members) - you'd never know. You may spot one or more of them. Then get hold of the police. After all, they just need to nab one to get to rest as well (of course, please exercise your discretion - don't go confronting them, or put yourself in danger). This sort of thing has happened before (a case I know of involved a gang who rob someone of his bike, and a few days later he spotted them with the same bike somewhere in the neighbourhood).

This is where vigilantes are required. Though it might not be a good thing. Krav Maga is also a good form of defence as it teaches you how to defend yourself in a streetfight. But numbers> everything else. I agree. Value your life more.
