not at all, they are not the same, different circuit(most probably), different style and different sound. If its fuzz factory, then the name would be the same already.

Wanna fuzz factory, get the fuzzfactory, either the handpainted or the vexter series.

By the way, I know the website says otherwise, but does anyone have an expert verdict on the difference between the Vexter and the USA Vexter and Handpainted pedals? Is it truly a matter of being handbuilt that justifies the huge jump in price? I just don't see anyone, not even millionaire TGP-ers, shelling out a couple hundred for a more colourful pedal.

Yep, he's quite full of himself imo. But he did make a pretty good post on HCFX about his business policies.

hey man, from what you posted, zvex seems like quite a clown. I remember he slamming a couple of guys for cloning his so-called "original super hard on circuit" and even putting down a fellow builder who offered him a schematic to prove to him that his booster circuit was not a clone.

Anyways, that guy is pretty smart and he knows where to take his ideas from. I respect him for his innovation but his pedals are pretty overpriced, imo.

Jack Orman's Mosfet booster came after the SHO. They're slightly 2 different circuits doing almost the same thing.

why not? boosts based on the jack orman mosfet boosters are something i personally like.

although, i very much have to agree with u that u should get a SHO if u're after the fact that its zvex.

I was compounding on the logic as to why people would pay so much for a SHO when they could get a Jack Orman Mosfet booster style pedal(which shares a similar circuit) at a fraction of the price, but hey its Zvex after all eh?

Those corksniffers from TGP will be the first to pounce if i made such a comment over there.
