Hey all! I'm sure some of you all attended the Zildjian workshop on cymbal appreciation by Mr Tama Goh and Mr Robert. Attendance was so great that they had one at 7pm (originally) and also a 3pm (to accomodate the overwhelming response)! I was there at 3pm session and having been to some other drum clinics before, I was very glad to have been upclose and been able to witness some of the spectacular drummings from Mr Tama and Mr Robert.

Like they say, Zildjian makes one of the best, if not, the best cymbals around the place and their playing did justice to the cymbals! In terms of timekeeping, dynamics, groove, feel, I must say we were all treated to a spectacular hour and half of drumming.

Both Mr Tama and Mr Robert were very enthusiastic in sharing whatever they know and learnt on their long road to us. They were encouraging and even allowed us to come upclose to watch their playing. Other than the 'housefly' that kept pestering Mr Tama, and for the two fellows who left halfway (somewhat a bit rude) in the middle of the session, I am sure it was a great clinic for all of us.

Oh I forgot to even mention that the two great Zildjian endorsees did not even charge us a cent for the time they have forked out to inspire the many of us! Kudos to Mr Tama, Mr Robert and of course all those who have coordinated and helped in a way or another!

Hey, i went to the same session as you. I am the one who ask about the meaning of overtone of a cymbal. Can you remember me? How about you? Can you describe a little bit about yourself so that i can remember you?

I was the one guy who kept asking many questions haha? I think you can remember that was one? With the cap? haha
