Your most serious accident or near death expirience

OK ppl to KILL (pardon the pun) time on a boring Monday .. here's the latest survey:

WHAT WAS YOUR MOST SERIOUS OR NEAR DEATH EXPIRIENCE?

I'll start.

1. Hit by car when I was in Pri 2. Hit & run case - the driver didnt stop and no one helped. I was badly bleeding and cut up and managed to stagger home whenere I passed out. My dad carried mwe to the doctor....

2. Kena electocuted coz my sister rabbit had chewed through my mini compo electrical cord (while it was off). One day I touched it and -YAZOOM.... one hell of an electrical shock

3. Fell off a waterfall in Mt Ophir ...luckily the area I plunged down into had a tree across it - coz it led to an even taller waterfall.

4. Played with matches as a young boy and nearly burnt down the kitchen... dad managed to put the fire out then proceeded to beat the shit outta me ...

5. Crashed my friend's dirt scrabbler motorbike while riding downhill cross country in NSW Australia when I was 17. Crashed into a lone tree on the hill and totally the bike but I only had a few scratches).

Lets hear your mishap stories
 
1) Was burning stuff under the block in Pri 4 when I burn the whole dustbin, was so terrified not because the dustbin burn but because my favourite toy was in it, totally cried over it. A auntie who lived nearby saw it and quickly get buckets of water to put out the flame. I remember panicking like shit was on my pants and called my mum, the first line was " Mum, the whole estate is on fire! WHAT?!?" :):p Those were the classic moments, the scolding at night were better than I expected tho.

2)Dunt know this was an out of body experience or what but I was in this dream, and I was stuck in it, all pitch black. The thing is I know I was in the dream, but have no power to wake up at all. Kinda like stuck underneath a tank, totally powerless and pressed and scary. Dunno how the hell I managed to woke up in the end, told my dad about it, and he told me it was a sleep demon, like the one shown on TV on Sun Wu Kong (Journey to the west) :D

3)When I was riding my bike in the hood, must be around pri, one or two, I always love adventurous ride and was swinging in between two pillars, when one of pillar was like one /tenth of an inch of breaking my finger, I was cycling at such force that just a tiny thing could have broke up finger, was in a trauma later.

As you can see folks, I dont really have anything really disastrous but this is kinda of the most serious one to date. My father survived a mountain tumble and a lightning shock (temporary paralyze for 15 mins) but that is another story isnt it.:)

Gd morning to you FGL, and yes I have got the monday blues as well.
 
i was cycling. and i normally like to speed, so i tried beating the red light, but ended up getting knocked down by a double deck bus.. luckily he was going slow. if not, those huge tires would have given me a GREAT full body massage
 
1) high fever. i was literally shivering while thinking i was in hell. took 30mins to get into sitting position and then fell of my double bunk bed, hit the wardrobe. then i woke up with a bump on my forehead and crawled to my parent's room where it went pitchblack again. was unconscious but mother told i was able to stand and walk with support till the taxi to the hospital.

2) not exactly near death but that time was after a soccer session at east coast. had high fever also, in the bus i was like trembling hard even my friend couldnt stop me. i was like shaking like i dont know how hard. damn weird.

Near Death expirience - Playing football... on ice... Real Ice... it was fun, when it wasn't painful... :)
Most serious accident - jumping from a bed and landing head first on a guitar ( the history of me and guitars), still have the scar to prove it...

Aw, I never had any form of near-death experience...

Maybe when I was young and in Malaysia. There was a mudslide then. Some cars were buried beneath the mud and my coach bus on the way to Genting was just a few vehicles behind. Had to escape from the mud and all. -.-

My family managed to escape in the end and took a taxi to KL. Haha, we were in the newspaper when we returned to Singapore. :D
 
Not really a near death experience but near blind experience:???:
Got hit by a soccer in the face. Nose bleed nonstop, vision was a little blured. so i went home and slept it off.
Next day, everything seems fine. By end of school, my eye started bleeding and my friend told me it was filled with blood, went to Tan Tock seng immediately. By the time i got there, i could not see from my left eye. Scared the crap out of me.
But i was lucky, and manage to the vision of my left eye back. :D
 
i hope my insurance company isn't reading this,

1) I was badly electrocuted at age 10. for about 8 seconds. 13 ampere wall socket, went to school after that.
2) around same year, I accidentally ran into a metal pole, had a serious bleeding bump on my head. thankfully I was born with a thick skull so I didn't feel any pain but the girls were screaming lol.
2) cycling, brakes failed, my sandals "tyre" botak already so didn't help. almost got run over by pickup.
3) bedroom's ceiling cornerage came crashing down 3 seconds after I moved away where I was sitting at. the thing weighs about 15kg.
4) feet cramp badly while swimming. almost drowned. pathetic though, 1.6metre pool, I was 1.5m back then. (I'm 1.83 now.) so I was "hopping" all the way to the edge.
5) went australia to study, my usual walking shortcut route to/from school is through this forested area, came home unpacked bag and had a spider jumped out of my bag onto my arm. now that I did abit of googling, it wasn't a "black widow" spider i thought all along, it was this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australasian_funnel-web_spider which is more deadly lol. killed it after that. mine was a fullgrown 5cm by 5cm.
6) my PC power supply blew up in my face when I switched it on. dodged it.
7) came back to SG, NS, I screwed up my grenade throw. lost grip of it at the moment I was gonna let it go so it was just about 3 metres away only.
8 ) military driver training, I almost overturned my 3 tonner truck at Lor Asrama/mandai. 25-30degree tilt. brakes didn't work because it was raining (specially during my turn) and tyres became donuts with all the mud stuck in it.coincidentally it was a "last day of ghost month". then at night during nightV training I saw pontianak.
9) most serious accident : i met this girl from a random classified ad on a random page, and I married her. lol

1.) Very young age - After watching my dad cut some wires with scissors, I decided try it for myself. I got a pair of scissors, found a nice white cable (which was the electric fan cable) then proceeded to cut. I'm so smart, I did it when the fan was plugged it. PPPPZZZZZZZZTTT !!! Oh what a sound. Everyone in the living room rushed to where I was. They found me there, sitting, with a scissor which now has a semi circle hole in it from where i cut the wire. and me sitting in shock. Dunno how come I was not electrocuted.

2.) 3 yr High School - 1st day of school - after class - Crossed the road in front of a stopped jeepney - did not see the AUV coming. (its like a customized locally made VAN)
SCREEEEEAAAAACCCHHH! Oh what I sound I heard. Next thing I knew, the world was spinning, then I was flat on my back. But I got up immediately though, then limping-ly finished crossing the street to the safety of the sidewalk and a small crowd. VAN drove away. Good thing I still manage to get up or the van might have finished me. I got away with only a bruised up left leg. (left hand drive in ph)

3.) Mid 20's - Early morning - Hoped onto my motorbike on my way to my LAN Shop - Drizzing - Damp Road - cruising at 60KPH - Saw a large Container Truck on the opposite lane - No big deal - SURPRISE !!! ID##T Motorcyclist tried overtake the Huge Truck - ate my whole lane -
Me: HIT Brakes -
BIKE: Disc Brake front wheel stopped, Drum Braked, unmaintained, almost threadless back wheel - SLID
ME: Kissed the pavement
ID##T overtaker - Sped away
ME: Picked up bike
ME: "AAARRRGG" Can't lift my right arm oh the PAIN !
ME: Pickup bike, call handphone, move to sidewalk (evrything now a blur. until today)
ME: Woke up lying in xray BED.
ME: Fractured Right Shoulder. Concussion

Why I'm not dead? ARAI FULL FACE HELMET !!!!
 
1. i fell into a drain. Shin fractured in 3 places only haha.

2. Bought a new car. 2 months later was on the KJE roundabout to BKE and was raining, I went in at 90KM/HR and was overtaking all the cars when suddenly the turn became steeper, i panicked, braked and the whole car spin and spin and i saw all the cars coming behind me all missed me and finally when i came to a stop, the car did not crashed into anything just that one of the tires somehow became stuck under the railing. No damages at all to me and the car, just $100+ to join AA membership and ask them come help me haha... thank GOD!
