AMEN for the KE1!!!

really barebones. makes you focus on technique.

Yeah man. Single bridge pickup...single volume knob. No one cares about tone anyway since it's always turned up. And we are bloody damn sure Marty has no issues with technique!

Ernieball Musicman John Petrucci (non-BFR). Truely wonderful guitar... There's some serious thought by JP put into the design of that one...

Yes bro Dime, you read my mind.

my fav sig axes I wish I had

1. THE STEVE MORSE MUSICMAN (blue non trem)
2. THE STEVE MORSE MUSICMAN (black FR model)
3. THE STEVE MUSICMAN (y2k)

The Morse model it one of the most tonally versatile guitars to play. The neck profile is also damned nice... The key problem I found with it was a personal gripe... there's no forearm cut... very uncomfortable to play sitting down...

P.S. isn't it supposed to be Y2D instead of Y2K (which was the crystal planet model for the JS?)

To tell the truth, if JP model comes with hard-tail variant, I'd choose it over anything :) Its the only Musicman design I like, but it beats anything else without competition.
