You need better writers and photogs.

My profession is a photographer, I am volunteering my services to Soft, as there is no one helping James in this area. If you think my pics does not do justice to Dream Theater don't see my pics , go to other sties where you can see beautifully technical shot pics of them, this is the first day of the CHINESE NEW YEAR, please make it a happy day for others , DON'T BRING YOUR TROUBLES HERE OK.

I have been very patient with your comments , please do not make me disrepect you here

i'm going through a bad patch at work, so i'm not holding back any horses about my words.

and so it seems that you have found a valid reason for crapping on our forum

I don't proclaim myself to be a "pro photographer" for any forum.

Enough said, time to devote myself to Solitaire.

sehsuan - if you feel it's that bad, take time and meet purplehaze3691 in person and clarify what you mean. i don't think a forum suffices to make as a good communication tool, and this episode might have been settled more amicably face to face.

thanks thor.

however, i wouldn't be popping by back on this forum until the next time a drum great pops by singapore. hopefully, terry bozzio and his gigantic setup.

hi sehsuan, hang around here when you can. it's just a bunch of music lovers here basically. and sometimes, we act like family too, meaning, we 'fight' and 'squabble', but deep down, i think many of us here do care for one another!! that said, Happy New Year!! :D

Thanks Duskalways.

I just hope I don't miss out information to a next big gig in town.

Actually I'm thankful to the forum; if not for forwarded news from other friends, I wouldn't know DT was scheduled to drop by after the cancellation of the Apr 05 date here. (correct or not?)

I would so say, majority of folks are nice chaps to be with, but I'm not going to bear with inaccuracies here and there. I've worked with another site before; and there has to be a certain level of QC for works done; volunteer or paid.

I can't read a note; count in 31/32 or 17/16's(as MP said here in May 2000)... so I respect all who can play a tune. But as a free individual; I think I really would grab better still shots with visible details (keeper shots) as well as somewhat abstract shots to satisfy both myself and the viewers. It's been a long wait; I would really like to have photos taken by myself at the venue; but as I mentioned twice over in the forums, if not for the presence of the auxillary police, I would have gone in insisting my camera with me. Short of two frizzy haired caucasian teens (?) with some faux leather gloves and forearm bands... it seems like I would have a great angle to shoot for my own memory anyway.

Please don't get me wrong. I would rather find it hard to shoot my favourite band's performance for 3 songs and get out; I would rather pay and listen to an entire performance. If it's not for DT... I wouldn't be there in the first place. ;)

sehsuan:

Just chill man. This is a music forum. Not a photography forum. So please go a little easier on fellow softies on photography skills. We are all friendly and help one another around here. There's no need for such harsh criticisms. Constructive ones yes, but perhaps with a little more tact?

Cheers :)

auxillary police

auxiliary.

at least theatre is not wrong. like grey and gray. colour and color. honour and honor. neighbour and neighbor.

but from reading your posts, it'd be nice to have you help cover the photos for soft. really. :)

Turbochicken, thanks for the correction there. Spelling noted ;)

But honestly, with all due respect, Petrucci really hates the British spelling, probably as much as how they really hated Blind Melon then...

Ah ok, FOES. Haven't met you in person yet, right? I thought it was Rohaimie - who I met this morning at the Thomson ride.

Mel, see how first, I'll let either you or Chun/Choo know if I'm coming. Or I'll drop a msg at your blog.
