hey!!was wondering who are using pod x3 live multi effect?hahahaha!!!want to know how many of u are using it!!hahaha!!so,yeah!!and how do u find that multi effect!!!

Love the part on upgrading firmware and downloading more amps/stompboxes etc... i rarely try to download those premade tones online.... somehow i dun really fancy them... but try tweaking the knobs around urself and DAMM!!!! u'll love the tone... unfortunately, not many people know how to control the tone, as such.... they kinda sound rather..... hmmm how would i put it... digital to me...

i usually try not to put too much on anything... just a lil here and there.... i guess thats the trick... and with a gd amp.... i'd say, its up there with the big boys...

i only HATE 1 thing about the pod xt live... the weight... feels like ur carrying one of those tank suspension on ur shoulders.

i play stuff from metal, rock, blues, jazz, funk and a lil experimental stuff... so i would say u can pretty much get a gnarly sound from it, for most genres.

yeah man!!hahahaha!!the guy told me its a killer machine!!but i need guidance with that machine!!the EQ and stuffs like that makes my head big!!hahahaha!!!i am a total noob with all those stuffs!!!hahahahaha!!!

I'm using it! Its an awesome pedal, lots of things to tweak around which allows you to really shape your tone to your liking, me likes.

The Pod X3 is very versatile too you can get lots of different kinda tones you want from it, simply use the Dual Tone feature to mix and mash up different kinds of Amp models together.

They've got some really nice high gain amp models inside like the Criminal or something which is modeled after the Peavey 5160 and theres other cool amps in it too, gotta check it out yourself!

Recording through the USB interface is pretty easy too and with Gearbox , it just makes your tone making way easier. And yeah this thing weighs a tonne, so I don't really like to lug this guy around together with my guitar, and its so heavy that my Line 6 pedal bag strap gave way.

I personally love using those hi-gain setting in podx3, but not clean tone..I like the clean tone the most directly from amp..

Home recording is totally awesome, but I hate using it with amp... sounds weird to me and can go very far whenever my preset tone blends with different amp. By the way, connect it to PA rocks, but can't guarantee proper monitor/ PA setup for guitarist in every venue.

there is one problem i face!!hahaha!!i am not sure if u guys face it too!but that is i find myself spend quite alot of time playing with the pod x3 rather than practicing my guitar!!oh man!!i spend alot alot of time tweaking and sometimes one day just pass by like that!!!without even practicing 15 mins!!been trying to find the tone that i want!!!hmmm....
