Hmm, i think it's unavoidable to NOT happen to compose a song with that same 1-5-6-3-4-1-4-5 progression don't you think? Doesn't mean that one person compose a song of that progression and therefore anyone else in the future is mimicking it?
How about songs with 3 chords? hahahaha! I used to call Blink 182 a 3chord band. No offence to anyone.

Anyway, all music started with classical back in the Baroque eras, and music evolved from there anyway.

And i actually have a different problem.
I am classically trained as well, but when i hear classical songs, i think of rock songs. Hey! That Bach piece sounds like Nirvana! WAHAHAHAAA! In your face Bach!

In my opinion it's rather lame...

As muscians, there ought to be some form of respect between different genres of music. And this is a really bad example to set as a musician - or so he called himself?

And ironically... he's playing the same song he is criticising. What mockery? Hur hur... And oh yeah, he sounded worse than a granny nagging. Just on and on non-stop.
