well i bought the PLG 150 AP, the acoustic piano board.
in my opinion, the quality is too good for its own good... you need a controller with very very lifelike keys to extra bring out its best, because you tend to forget you're playing a grand piano sound. you have to try to pretend you're playing a piano, half pedaling, holding notes and lifting before the cut off kicks in. the 64 poly phony sucks also, because it tends to run out during long passages when i hold half. sosentinoo (can't speel crap) and the key shift damper works also, but for key shift damper (soft) u've to turn up the volume to notice.
at soft levels (playing gently, finger control), the spacing of each nuance is not so good, but if u play normally or loud, u really hear a grand piano responding. there's a latency time as well depending on ur controller.
without sustain playing jazz or stuccato, u hear a slight tamborine sound. that totally sucks.
all in all, u need to EQ and customize the patch before it can sound good. i spend over 50 hours trying to tweak the settings, becasue teh stock piano sound really sucks. have fun!
