Have a Yamaha LJ16 for sale.
Selling on behalf of a friend who has upgraded.
This is a great guitar for both finger style and percussive strumming.
Used only twice a week for church practice sessions.
It comes fitted with:
1) LR Baggs RTS2 undersaddle pick-up
2) Upgraded mammoth ivory saddle and nut for improvements in both the tone and harmonics, and more importantly the sustain and improved sound quality. Both were fitted by none other than Jarvis!
3) Upgraded buffalo bone pins as well also for improved tone.
Guitar was previously purchased from Luther music.
Sound has opened up and is nice and smooth.
Condition of the guitar is really excellent for its age as it is really well taken care off. According to him its about 5/6 years old.
Some slight scuffs on the back, and some tarnish on the tuners. Front and sides are as good as new. All lacquer still in tip-top condition.
Neck is straight and true and action is really nice, not too low, but still pretty fast.
Bought everything for around 2k.
Comes with the original Yamaha gig bag.
