yamaha e303 problem

bought the above last week at vivo besk denki ... last set ... didn try it out

but when i use it at home ... with "grand piano" voice ... pressing the c key loud enough ... you can hear some sort of distortion noise ... other keys played fine

tink have to go down to yamaha and get it fixed ... sigh

Last set, are usually the display set?

it wasn't the display set. The display set is still in the show room.

anyway, just that the possiblity of getting such a problem for a new set ... how low can it get ... but somehow i got it :evil:

I've asked them this qns before. basically all their keyboards have this problem. When the master vol is on very loud and u hit ta note very hard, esp some keys, there will be distortion. I tried their $1k keyboards and the $3k keyboard (the one tat u can connect to internet to dl) ALL but ONE have this problem. tat one was a 1.5k digital piano i tink, tats able to be loud n no distortion.

So better dun on too loud. like 80% then amp the sound ba.
