Yamaha DTXpress IV Special

I just got a Yamaha DTXpress IV Special, everythings's fine, except for the hi-hat. It just doesnt seem to close, even after I adjusted the hi-haty settings on the drum module...

IMHO the problem lies with the Hi-Hat stand coz it doesnt seem to be able to lock its position... But I'm clueless as to how it will help...

Does anybody know how to solve the problem?

Dude I'm still stuck with the same problem... Only thing is, I sorta like pushed the cymbal up and the hi-hat is always closed now... Have you resolved your problem? Do inform me too! =D
