Wow!!!!! Amazing! It's like the P250 with 4 zone sliders which are actually assignable!!! That's the missing piece in the P250 - now it's complete. The perfect touch digital piano that also functions as a master controller, with build-in spekaers.

This thing is going to be VERY popular!

Just got back to Singapore last night. Today I was in PS with my family and had a very quick few seconds look at the CP300 (because my son wouldn't let me stay there too long....)

In the few short seconds, one big problem (at least for me) surfaced. No problems with touch. The power wasn't hooked up (as usual) so I couldn't try the sound.

But one of the main thing (ie the main selling point of the CP300 as opposed to the P250) is the midi controller faders which finally made the P series of digital piano more like a master midi controller. HOWEVER, the zero position of the faders is not at the bottom of the fader but the middle. The problem is that at the resting middle zero position, the faders clicks. In fact, all the faders catches and clicks in the middle resting position. Not so much problems with the reverbs, but it's very irritating for midi controller fader to do that. It's no longer a smooth control.

Yamaha put quite a bit of thought into the keyboard, and they messed up in the key thing that's the selling point. I can't believe it!
