YAMAHA ASIAN BEAT BAND COMPETITION 2011
Competition Types:
(1) Junior Category (13-20 Years Old)
(2) Open Category (No Age Limit)
Junior Category:
(a) Participating bands are required to submit the entry form and song lyrics before the due date.
(b) All members must not be above the age of 20years old on the day of competition.
(c) Junior Category Competition will be held at Yamaha Music Avenue - Marina Square.
(d) Bands participating in the Junior are required to perform 1 original composition. No cover song is allowed throughout this competition.
(e) Panel of judges will select the Top 3 bands from the Junior Category to proceed to the Singapore Finals.
(f) Prizes For Junior Category Competition:
1ST: SGD$800.00 Yamaha Voucher
2ND: SGD$600.00 Yamaha Voucher
3RD: SGD$400.00 Yamaha Voucher
Open Category:
(a) Participating bands must submit a "LIVE" recorded music video of the band in CD/DVD together with the entry form and song lyrics before the closing date.
(b) Bands participating in the Open Category are required to perform 1 original composition recorded in music video format (MPEG4 or AVI Format) for submission and "LIVE" perfomance during the Singapore Finals. No cover song is allowed throughout this competition.
(c) Panel of judges will select the top 7 bands from the Open Category to proceed to the Singapore Finals.
(d) Bands that qualified to the Singapore Finals will be notified by phone before 20 August 2011.
(e) Prizes for Open Category
1ST: SGD$1000.00 Yamaha Voucher
2ND: SGD$800.00 Yamaha Voucher
3RD: SGD$600.00 Yamaha Voucher
