well, my wish list for this christmas isn't expensive, should be able to get them by next christmas so i can wish for other stuff.
lawl.
1. bass make over/ upgrade
i seriously need a playable/gig-able bass, too afraid to bring my cort out after seeing the dings and dangs and what have you.
2. bass multi efx
so that i can experiment with sounds and patches before buying stompboxes. lol.
3. good piano techniques and theory
so that i won't suffer next yr when i study music.
haiz, above all, i just hope that i won't make stupid decisions next year.
enough of experimenting with my life this holiday.
HAHA.
Hartke hydrive 4x10
I haven't decided on an amp head yet.
Oh... Warwick thumb NT 6. Been gassing for that for too long already.
lol what i got for my xmas was 2 trips to china in 1 week
-_-
that thing is 800 watts right!!? power! \m/
the hydrive is sweet but i am goign old school trying to score a 2x10 vx or 1x15 to mix with the 4x10. i know its overkillthe LH head is actually 2x500W but because the speakers are 8ohms, I can only draw 225W of power. However in bridged mode where the 2 power amps are combined, I can draw a max of 1100W at 4ohms and 750W at 8ohms. I'll need a speakon cable for that.
So far it's been great dealing nice, punchy and sweet modern tones. It's a bit hard to coax out a less defined vintage tone. Also it sounds a little compressed overall. Could just be the head though.
But I love it very much for it's sweet and warm sound. Can't wait to try it out live some time. =p
