X JAPAN with TAIJI

I have been pretty much inactive here, but im here to share some great news!

Im a huge X JAPAN fan, and TAIJI, the kickass bassist who has not played with them in 18 years, after suffering broken limbs, fractured skull, epilepsy and even a brain tumor, took part in their concert today!

Any other ardent fans of X who are EXTATIC about his cameo?

Hee no la, I didn't read properly, I think there was a Hong Kong band called Taiji as well.

lets just say i was lucky to watch the whole gig.

but it sucks when he gets to play supporting bass when he wrote the basslines, X shirts with taiji's name were being sold and he only played 1 song? so much for the damn hype

How come the bassist got so many injuries and all that?

well, when he was asked to leave X , his life went down in flames.

with X he was loved, playing to sell out crowds of 60k, and once he left, it was a huge downward spiral.

hide died, he was really affected by it.

he then started cocaine abuse and alcohol abuse, which led him to huge financial ruin, he became homeless in due time.

while homeless, he got into a fight, which distorted his jaw, without the funds, and with too proud to approach his ex-bandmates, so his jaw healed awkwardly.

over the years, he played in clubs with lesser known bands, he suffered many motorbike accidents, breaking all his limbs, and the latest one, he fractured his skull.

in the hospital, he was told that he had epilepsy, induced by the skull fracture, worse, a brain tumour was detected.

its a miracle he is still alive today, and if you dont know his work :
