Today the Les Paul classic is staple series in the Les Paul line. However , back in 91' , there wasn't a classic line. They developed the 1960 Classic. Before they created the Historic series of R0, R6, R7 etc. This guitar was the initial attempt at a 1960 Reissue . It's a classic that's higher end than a standard of that time as well . Do a little research to get a better understanding . Amazing sounding guitar and goes for almost $3000usd on Reverb.com and eBay. Neck has a couple of nicks and covered ding but plays amazing . Gold top goes all round and NOT just the front . Comes with Gibson Brown Case . Bigsby is a vibramate so no issues to put the original bridge back.
