WTS: Gretsch Renown Maple 4-piece shell pack

After a lot of soul searching, I've decided to sell this beautiful kit: My Gretsch Renown Maple. I've had it since about 2010, but it's been played very sparingly. (That's the main reason for the sale, too—I just don't get the chance to play it enough). It's in fantastic condition, with the only blemish a small scratch on the 14" tom. It's always kept in its own set of hard cases in a dehumidified room when it's not out and about. (Hard cases included with sale.)

These are true 'rock' sizes, with a 24" kick, 13, 14 and 16 toms. The kick is un-drilled, but I'll include a clamp tom mount for the 13" (and I'm happy to negotiate for a nice big strong double-braced Yamaha cymbal stand to mount it on).

The colour is a really classy matt black, with the wood grain visible through the stain. The hoops are all die-cast. This kit was brought in from the USA. The heads are a set of almost-new Evans EC2 SSTs, which have a heap of life in them. I also have a matching 14 x 5 snare if anyone is interested.

This kit sounds amazing, and has been very popular with any sound guys I've worked with, who have all remarked on how easy it's been to EQ. It's also been sampled for online sounds and even spent a weekend being recorded down in the old Lion Studios.

This is an amazing kit, and I'll be very sorry to see it go. I'm asking S$1800 for the shell pack and hard cases.

PRICE DROP: I'll now take $1500 for the kit. I'll include some additional heads for the bass drum, too!
