I think that one was sold already, and as mentioned in the ad, my price is slightly negotiable.

Haha all his gibsons are always sold, so if you need one, he will ship it in for you. Using swee lee's price isn't
a good gauge of pricing your guitars. Slightly nego to? For 2.3, you can get a les Paul standard from hub already.

As mentioned, this is a limited run signature model which is no longer made anymore. Most dealers also have sold out on this model due to its popularity.

Also as you can see from the pictures, the condition of this guitar is immaculate. Also I do not think hub or anyone else is selling any 2011 les paul standard models at 2.3k in the same condition. If you are interested to purchase do drop me a PM and we can negotiate the price.

and that's why I'm getting a traditional soon. He has one, the one with the serial number scraped.
Aside from that, it's in good condition. Although this is guitar is in limited numbers, but I don't think it's value will rise in such a short time.

I think seller has every right to price his guitar at any price he wants. He is also perfectly right to quote the official dealer's price. It is not fair to flame him or undermine his sale based on prices of second hand dealers or parallel importers. And worse, comparing with another guitar with its serial number scraped, which sounds shady. I believe seller is acting in good faith and making a loss on the sale of this guitar so attempts to lowball him by unfair comparisons are laughable.

I just want to highlight that the guitar I'm selling is not chambered. It has the Traditional Weight Relief just like the Les Paul Traditional.

I don't know about the normal studios but this one is not chambered but rather uses the Traditional Weight Relief. You can see the specs here :

Okay this is really misleading, check out the long passage written by Gibson. It says strategically weight relieved.

I took this from another forum. Basically this is the difference.

Chambered

Weight Relieved

Most modern Gibson Les Pauls (including the Traditional) are at least weight relieved with exception of historic and some higher end models.

Also I can say that the guitar is quite heavy even by les paul standards, it should be somewhere around 7 to 8 pounds, which is inconsistent with chambered versions which usually are less than 5 pounds.

I've seen this photos ages ago. So nothing new. Modern les paul standards are chambered. Not Weight relieved(Swiss cheese holes)

Haha yea, Gibson les Paul guitars' weight are getting inconsistent actually. Anyways bumps for your sale I prefer his custom shop model though. Although the price is insane lol
