This is another handmade guitar for me by my luthier friend from the Philippines(https://www.facebook.com/pages/Micsis-Guitar-Spot/232041870175678?ref=ts) that has served me well for almost two years now. This is actually some sort of a prototype before his business was officially launched.
Specs are:
1-piece Maple neck
2-piece Ash body
Wilkinson bridge with compensated saddles
Bare Knuckle Flat 50's pickup
Gotoh Kluson-type tuner
Dunlop locking strap buttons
Wiring: 1st position = no tone controls, 2nd position = tone control, 3rd position = cocked wah sound
Metal dome knobs
I had it made in such a way that the paint is thin that you can almost feel the grains so it would age but there's still enough protection to repel dirt from seeping in. The sound I went for when building the guitar is Jimmy Page's early led zep sound so I put more emphasis on bark than twang but it can still do so if you want because the BKP pickup is really versatile.
