I have 2 vintage Oktava MK-219s up for sale, one manufactured in 1987, the other 1989. Both are highly sought after by recordists today for their impeccable quality. All of the components (including the chunky transformer) were made in-house at the Oktava factory. Upon inspection, it can be observed that the capsule of these mics were based upon a historical Neumann design (akin to M7). They are a very nice contrast to the overly bright and sibilant microphones found in the market today and can does a great job on any acoustic sound sources and even guitar cabinets!
The microphone has both roll-off and pad options that increases its versatility to compete with other top-of-the-line condenser microphones. Both the MK219s have just came back from inspection and servicing (still retains original parts) and are ready to serve you for decades to come!
