I have a 2005 Taylor 814ce. It is made of solid sitka spruce and solid east indian rosewood back and sides. It is equipped with the taylor expression system. The saddle is upgraded to FMI saddle. It comes with a hardcase.
However I have a scratch on the back and a slight dent at the headstock. But it does not affect the sound at all.
It is a fact that not all Taylor 814ce sounds the same. When I bought this guitar, there was 2 other 814ce in the store and this one sound the best out of the three.
The price of a new 814ce in Sinamex cost close to $5,000. I would like to sell this at price of $3200.
