SINGAPORE: A woman was killed after being hit by a train at Clementi MRT station early Tuesday morning.

SMRT said the incident at 6.15am caused westbound service between Queenstown and Jurong East MRT stations to be affected.
To maintain service on the unaffected stretch of the East—West line, westbound trains were turned around at Queenstown MRT Station.
Train service between Jurong East and Joo Koon stations were not affected by the incident.
SMRT also activated a bus bridging service from Queenstown to Jurong East stations to ferry affected passengers.
The first bus arrived at Queenstown MRT Station at about 6.50am.
Train services resumed at 7.03am.
SMRT said about 6,250 passengers were affected during the incident.
Passengers who were unable to complete their journeys due to the disruption can claim a full fare refund from the Passenger Service Centre in any of the 53 SMRT stations within the next three working days.
SMRT is assisting the police in investigations.

Lol if they say CCTV not working, later people complain again! Power of Singaporeans = complain power

Anyway, I feel this should be noted by all, just stand behind the freaking yellow line, I don't care if the train coming or not... some people stand damn close to the train when it still moving at a VERY HIGH speed, they want to get free facial or what I don't know lah, but really, it's very dangerous.

Just my $0.02

i like the kiasu ppl who rush to get in...especially wen i'm getting out... so tat i can langgar them. i dun care if i hurt them.

abt the yeloow n red line... i believe every station must have a barrier thinghy, instead of lines.
look at the underground tracks, got the glass panels all... no1 died.

lines are just guidelines... but people can easily step over the line just to be kiasu.
if there are barriers, glass panels/doors, fencing or wateva, i dun think there will be dead people on the tracks.

unless tat person is reli suay

lol yeah bro, being bigger the rest of them aunties makes it easy ya? hahaha... they all rush in bang off me than always give me that kp face, then back off, damn funny sometimes, cuz I juz stand there stone.

but back on main topic, ya, i think should be more rigid preventive measures against this sort of thing happening again... but government later increase ERP tax to build our glass walls =x (again)

it states that she a old lady in here seventies....maybe she might have fallen down or fainted...anything could have happened..

I remember once when i going home... Wah... The ppl damn... I going after NCC training then is bout 6 plus... Jurong MRT very crowded... So when my MRT reached jurong, the door open, many ppl rushing out I just stand near the seats there (where there is this barrier for ppl to lean on) and let ppl out first before i go out... Then there's this indian guy he shout at me "BOY!!! DUN WASTE OUR TIME CAN???" THEN HE PULLED ME OUT OF THE TRAIN... Then also i put my unforms and stuffs in between my feets so this fat old AUNTY said... " YALOR, SOMEMORE STILL PUT THE BAGS IN BETWEEN YOUR LEGS..." then give me the "Your mother never teach you manners" look... I was like wat the ****
Firstly i being considerate stand 1 side let ppl out before i go out...
Secondly I put my uniform in between my legs to prevent blocking any1's way...

Isn't that considerate??? I wonder why singaporeans becoming more and more retarded... What's the worst can happen... At most miss train, late go home only wat... No point pushing banging all these shit... HAISYO...

if any pulls me or any of my frds infront of me out of the train like tat, i'll punch his throat hard and make him choke.
