Anyway, I can't make it for WOJ, sooo... back to Singfest. Haha. I'm so pissed with the pricing, and I'm not going if the prices don't fall below 150.

why dont we all just take one step back and look at how far the organizers have gone to get these acts down

you can't please everybody

you do realise that right

it's a good opportunity to enjoy music

who knows you might become a fan of something

people always complain about lack of overseas live acts

when they come, people complain if it's some band they don't like

in all honesty prices are considerably reasonable

sure some bands may not be what you like

but once the plug is pulled for good because of low sales

then what happens?

srsly come on..you lot are smart constructive people

ha ha... Thanks alot for the support but back to this thread....

Though $150 on face value seems alot but 10hours of music with so many competent bands then yeah I think its quite reasonable.

And we can't compare Singfest with shows like the Warp Tour where u pay like 1/2 (or less) but then theres a bigger audience, more sponsors with deeper pockets and more tour dates.... so letz all do da math b4 complaining but then again tatz a Singaporean trait ain't it?

U know how it works here locally...once there are any constructive opinions that doesn't go in line with what the promoter thinks, they'll always post an idiotic response / not listen. [just look at WOJ's thread]

We can suggest all that we want...and year after year nobody listens. The best way is just to work for the money and go overseas to see what we want

On behalf of all the organizers big & small in Singapore we are sorry that we cannot satisfy u 100% year after year.

Plz, plz enlighten us with your infinite wisdom or the best is that u work for the money and do a show yourself so u get to see what YOU want
