will electrical tapes leaves residue?

im looking to like use those electrical tapes to like form words and paste on my guitar, but would it like leaves icky residue on the guitar after i take it off? cause im scard later all the finishes all kena tear apart.

then anyone happen to see any pink colour or white tapes? in sg?

i saw other type tapes. Go to Arts Friend at taka or bras basah or nafa there.

alot of sizes too.

Try not to use Electrical Tapes; those tapes to wrap wires one. Its super sticky and leave so obvious marks.

It won't leave any residue. There might be lines though...like, the shape of your word...but you can clean it off pretty easy.

If its a poly finish or something the lighter fluid might damage it, but if u have the patience and time then just scrape it off slowly, it'll come off.

Well they come in a roll of about 45cm wide. So you just purchase by metre. Cant rmb how much per metre though. So you gota cut out the letters of whatever design you want yourself. It what I used to do this

They come in lots of colours dude, red pink blue green black gold orange yellow silver white. cant rmb all of them. best you go down and check it out.

lol. dont use electrical tape!!! it CAN peel off the finish. so u'll get unsightly patches on your guitar in the end.

Just a suggestion, maybe you would like to polish your guitar with wax before pasting on for easier remover on a later stage. but the sticking property might be affected.
