Just a short article that was put up on a US retailer site.
I thought it was quite cute.

Picture shows a UPS and FedEx truck in a head-on crash.

The UPS truck came up tops!!

Haha.. dat's interesting..

but seriously, in your shipping experience, which do you prefer? or which other would u prefer?..

heyo mrmisse,

Yuan Han here, the guy who bought your Yamaha Line Selector (works very fine! has a "secret compartment" which is actualyl a small piece of plastic that can be removed to add a like 8 pin connector... havn't figured out what it is for though !).

Anyway, I have not tried any courier service, but USPS works fine ! about 2 weeks normal mail..... global priority package about 1 week. though they always seemed to get checked....(comes with small holes).

USA to Spore
I have a shipping account with UPS at this moment.

So far, they've been OK except once when a shipment went all around the States rather than to Singapore.

In any case, I don't think any global courier company could give 100% guarantee on their services .... the true test for a global courier company is their response when things screw up.

From my experience though, Baxter Global has some of the lowest rates from USA to Singapore. Their service is OK though deliveries are outsourced to local Singapore courier companies.

USPS is another cheap method though manufacturers don't really employ it.

Normally delivery time is about 2 weeks though certain shipments of mine have taken 2 months. Your milleage may vary.

For what its worth, if your shipping small quantities of pedals, DHL is also a good bet; especially if you can fit them within their "standard shipping boxes".

Spore to USA
I like to use Singpost especially if its a deal over eBay. Very economical though unless you have a corporate account with them, you will need to bring the item directly to a post-office for shipment.

yap thanks for the info..

when i got my visual sound stuff over.. i used expeditors singapore but i must say although it was pretty fast.. there are alot of coordination involved n damn.. it sure was ex!!! i'll probably try others before i go back to them..

Ship by USPS or SingPost, insurance is separate.

Other global courier companies have their own reimbursement policies.

If you're interested, you could probably read it on their site or email them.
