Wtf?

Where's frost? inferno? george kollias? neill pert? the camel(portnoy)?

Your tittle is misleading.....

the poll sucks.

best drummer, imo would either be slayer's dave lombardo or black dahlia murder's shannon lucas (ex-all that remains)

that guy from as blood runs black has killer kicks too

You should include a longer list of drummers here. And u definitely must include Akira Jimbo, Neil Peart, Mike Portnoy, Thomas Lang and nt fogetting BUDDY RICH!

Tony royster jr.... his showmanship, technique, humble down to earth attitude and always willing to share anything, playing style and his feness...

he played for big bands, jazz etc.. awesome drummer IMO..

should include more cats up to the poll list man if u could amend it...

cheers

That's like asking "Who's the best band in the world?" and providing only

-Journey
-The Beatles
-Sister Hazel
-Collective Soul

You think electing president si bo?

Best drummer in the world ah... hmmm... ME LOR!!! jkjkjk seriously I think "best" in drumming is quite subjective.

I think no one can touch Mike Mangini when it comes to technical ability. The guy can do it all. Fastest drummer in the world (based on WFD records), ambidexterous, great independence and can pull off just about any polyrhythm given.

Overall best in terms of musicianship and acheivements, in my opinion it goes to either Steve Gadd or Vinnie Colaiuta.

Steve Gadd and Steve Smith to mention 2 big names, if not the biggest 2 names in the drumming world.

Go check around and read up on all the more modern drummers (ie. neil peart, portnoy etc etc), even some mainstream pop drummers. Most of them would definitely cite one, if not both of the two as their influences.

There's no such thing as the best drummer, because everybody learns from someone else. Ie. Portnoy said once that he was very inspired by Peart's playing..

:P personally I like steve jordan's playing. laid back, and super tight pocket groove. Killer dreadlocks too.

i had to say Travis Barker of all you had mentioned. For me, i had to see, of all i've seen. this guy, Tony Royster Jr. He plays good. Humble. Willing to teach. From what i've seen from youtube. and, maybe chris adler? the lamb of god. his kicks are awesome. joey's good too. so yeah. haha.
