Indie Music doesn't really sound that 70s. It is just another word for independent or alternative.
Besides Indie/Alternative is a brilliant genre of music that a lot of people appreciate. Just like I'm sure you have your favourite genre of music which you won't really like other people dissing, best if you don't diss the favourite genre of other people too. =)

for my case , everytime i on the TV and switch to MTV , there's this MV they always play.
i cant remember the band but i know it was featuring Timbaland.
the song goes something like " its too late to apologise... its too laaaaattteeeee(high pitched) " yeaaaa.
my friend finds it nice. but damn i hate that song . its like so damn irritating uh !
and i'll be like WTF ! when they keep singing it.
o yea ! i hate ppl who blast music in the bus or mrt thinkin its "coool" !
i dun mind if they blast some nice metal music . =p
but most of the time its techno or some chinese music.
i'll feel like shouting at em . damn irritating .

haha, +1 to the timbaland part, he only provided the background vocals for the song, while one republic did the rest, but why is it credited as "timbaland feat. one republic"?

because timbaland wrote the song.
timbaland is really a good music producer, i mean, he's not some scene poser like 50 cent and akon those few who are mainly one hit wonders. Most of his works are very highly sought after and acclaimed by fellow musicians of the genre.. so try not to diss him lah, unless u can do better

i thought it was one republic that wrote the song. and it was originally an alternative rock song. cuz one republic is actually an alternative rock band. then timbaland liked the song and signed a contract with them and made it into a remix which made it no longer alternative rock.

haha estherix what i meant was he like sorta remixed the song to make it so famous. but its actually quite true its quite dumb that its feat. One Republic. well i don't know much about these music.
