Tonezone has better harmonic response... very strong bass and is pretty thick due to its heavy mids...

The X2N is more balanced with a boost in the treble... good harmonics (just that it don't jump out as easily as the TZ) and ridiculous amount of power. It overdrives everything!

Hmm... but the thing is, the pup will enhance whatever wood your guitar is made of... so what kind of guitar do you have?
 
Just to add on, the X2N isn't for everyone. It takes skills to control that monster, and at the same time, the sound produced may be to OOMPHed for normal music, unless u opt to coil tap/split , etc.

I'd recommend a Seymor Duncan JB Bridge.
