Storm, placing the BYOC phaser BEFORE drive would actually give you something like a wah pedal. Try it again. Note how the phaser sweeps when you dig into your notes?

I would be wary of saying "the effect is not strong enough". There is beauty in simplicity...

If you have the BYOC script phaser ah... that one is slightly milder than the current Phase 90.

You can easily mod the BYOC to be stronger sounding though... but again... when you use it for cleans... it would sound.. not so nice lah.

hi shredcow, ya the phaser comes with the block mod, n on clean i use the script side. i tink i;ll put it back to before distortion again. just now when i tried it sounds like a wa wa very similar yes.

Paul Gilbert plays his Phase 90 that way. So you can hear the pseudo wah-age going on.
