Which bass is much more better?

LOL on a sidenote,

Precision basses have lower resale value then per say, a Jazz Bass.

Kinda went through a hard time when trying to sell of my precision last time.

Most people said that a jazz can achieve the Lower end growl of the precision with knob tweaking.

So somehow, it's like precision basses are a subset of the jazz bass LOL!

no offense, but you priced that precision way too high and with a pickguard in horrible condition. the buyer would have to spend another 40-50 dollars to get a new pickguard if he didn't want to spend the time to get it cleaned.

tone-wise, i have to disagree. i've never gotten any jazz (i've probably tried 8-10, can't remember anymore) to sound appreciably like a precision.

the fast neck is a major difference between the 2... i play an aerodyne jazz special so not only does it have a fast neck but also a thin, carved body. beware though, the offset body of the jazz bass means that it may not fit some gig bags, as it will be too long.

i play mostly covers, and different styles depending on the type of gig, so i will benefit from the tonal flexibility.

in the end it boils down to your needs and preferences. but like i said earlier, they are both good. they are all good. just that they have different strengths
