Where to get my guitar gutted? change pu selector & pot

as above...

i wanna change my pots and my pu selector....

coz my pu selector is like rusting abit... below the plastic part is metal and its like rusting... so i guess might as well change the pots while im there.....

and some of the screws of the pickguard are rusting.... oh and one of the strap pins are rusting.... :roll:

btw i use a 60th anniv strat...

where do you keep your guitar dude? I dunno how you manage to get all your parts rusted. screws would definitely rust over time. to me I dont really give a hoot unless the screw heads are almost worn out. now that would lead to some major problems. if you are really particular about the looks on your guitar, than change those screws to stainless steel ones. at least they wouldnt rust.

btw I'm curious on what pots are in that guitar. CTS or alpha pots? if they are those alpha pots, than yah, change them. alpha wouldnt last long thats for sure.

not that I want to advertise but all these repairs that you've stated can be done at guitar connection down at excelsior hotel basement. just talk to Kelvin with regards to the prices.

as for the pu selector... its all stock....

keep my guitar in my gigbag all the time.... unless in use...

ah, next time just throw a few packets of silica gel. it would most definitely help.
