Hello flashJack,
fellow leftist.!! Bro of the left arm,.
yea i understood your sorrow, looking for budget one or?
here's a few alternatives for you.
1. stagg- KC and team brought in a few strat and les copies, overall i think it's good..not bad, nice construction, but the neck feels "fat", i got small finger, thus not really suitable for me, perhap good for you.
2. J&D- i think the holy grail of budget left guitar, saw it in novelty stationery, the fretboard feels nice for me, perfect for a project guitar of cos.
3, Epiphone- i ever got hold of 1 standard les paul MIC copy, the now growing reputated "QingDao" factory made. yes.. i would say sound wise it's good, the construction and finish are top notch for the price. check it out with Rui from G77, they are bringing in
4. Schecter - they got load and load of left handed version. the sexist one is the "AX7" artist copy. check with G77 too.
5. Fender- MIM,MIJ of cos you know the story. MIJ is better than MIM,
but i own an MIM telecaster bought form the state. honestly it's fine for me. just need to change the pickup. that all
