Hey there

anybody know where i can buy a plank of wood measuring about 60cm x 30cm for use as a pedal board?

not really particular about the type of wood as long as its durable and affordable. so any suggestions as to where i can buy it?

thanks.

yeah, ikea, the wooden shelves...
i think only $9

Fehlupkid.....i guess you noticed the shoe rack outside my apartment ....yes it was ones my DIY ikea 'wooden shelf' pedal board.... ;)

cool.

any idea if they can custom cut the wood plank for me if it doesn't come in exactly the size that i want? if they do, any extra charge?

thanks.

what i did with my first board is to use one of the un-use shelf from my cupboard. brought it to a carpenter and get them to cut it for me to the exact size to fit it into my warwick rock bag. then bought some thick velcro and superglued it all over.

the carpenter did it for me because i had another project with him... so it's free... hur hur..

you gotta find a way i guess...

goose : i thought so... hur hur... nice... so many pedals.. looks like crocs.. hehe

I have plywoods and can custom cut it to any size you wanted...$25 per piece.

Can fabricate custom hardware like knob, leg, etc. $20 per working hr. Min 1 hr.

I agree with goose, isn't getting a wooden board and getting it to fit and all that all about DIY fun and saving on cost?

suffice to say, i'm not in the position to be doing any DIY cutting of wood, much as i want to. i agree, though, that much of the fun lies in hand-customizing something you'll be using frequently and something you can show off to other people. but as aforementioned, i can't.
