where to buy Penny Whistle and Didgeridoo?

Hi, does anyone know where I might buy a low Penny Whistle and Didgeridoo in SG? Or anyone bought a good one from internet and can recommend? I hope to get them soon...
Thanks...

I saw a playing guide that comes with a pennywhistle at kinokuniya a couple of years ago I think. :?

Thanks guys for all the links...

I got my whistle from Music Clef today. It's a Feadog, Excellent value, easy to play and alot of fun. However, it's not tunable (it's abit sharp at room temperature, and abit off-tune at certain notes) which might be a problem when I combine instruments... So, I'm still considering ordering a better quality one from US though...
btw, the one at Kinokuniya's sold out...

I'll try looking for the didgeridoo at Ebay Aus...

Buy didgeridoo in Singapore

..about didgeridoos

It actually depends on what you want.

Yamaha at Plaza Singapura carries the plastic type. Not at all fancy, but it's on D and I think may serve the basic drone.

For Teak wood (from indonesia and also the one you can easily get on ebay), you can get it from Sunny's tribal shop at Sultan's Gate, near heritage village Arab St.

And if you do want to go for the really good ones, which are my personal favorites, Eucalyptus with a variation of sub species (this is the original wood indigenous people carve to make didges), don't buy through ebay instead there are some sites that I have bought several and happy with my purchases. Here's some links of sites I have bought my didges from:

Didgeridoo Breath: The Australian Didgeridoo & Aboriginal Art Specialist

and also

JOHN GROVES MUSIC PRODUCTIONS : TROMBONE STUDIO & DIDGERIDOO GALLERY - KENT, WASHINGTON, USA

If you would like to get a PVC type didges which is also tunable (around AUD130), just PM me and I'll gladly drop you his email addie or how to get it. ;)

If you need advise and some playing tips, we welcome you to join us for hop along jam session at Sunny's tribal shop. ;)

Here are some of my videos I uploaded on youtube:

YouTube - ididgeit's Channel

I have a total of four didges, mostly eucalyptus and some PVC types. You can see some of mine on my youtube channel above.

Happy didging

P.S. Note that the Eucalyptus type can cost around AUD250 to anywhere above a few $Ks'

Go to wheelock place and wait for this busker that plays the didgeridoo. I'm not sure what time he's there though. Maybe you can ask him if he has lobangs:)

Nope. They don't sell it anymore. I have got mine from Feadog page. I want to get a few more, hence I tried Ranking, Yamaha, and Swee lee. All don't have:(

I have just ordered another one from Clarke - The Original Tinwhistle (Key of C), togethere with a book. Ordered 2 days ago, so far have only received an acknowledgement email but it didn't say when it will be sent out, when it's arriving:(
The last time I ordered from Feadog, it took 12 days. So hoping that it will arrive soon.

I have got my tin whistle from Clarke already. Took 21 days, which I felt was rather unusual and hence I wrote to them after the 2nd week. They replied, apologized and explained that there was some glitches with their system and thus caused the delay. Well, I was more than happy when I received the whistle and didn't really bother about the long wait after that. It really is a beauty, and the book, I feel, is a must buy! Well, I am not saying that Feadog isn't as good, but these 2 whistles are just different, but both are good:)

For didgeridoo, I have bought a PVC and a bamboo didge from the yamaha. Not really that bad, especially with that kind of price, I would consider them acceptable. But I am thinking of getting a better looking didge. Couldn't find anywhere that sells them but at Tribal Arts. The shop owner, Sunny, really a nice fellow. Now I am saving up to get one of his eucalyptus didge:) Check this out - http://www.gaiadiscovery.com/latest-places/world-music-tunes-up-kampong-glam-singapore.html

Didgeridoo in Sg & KL

I have just returned from KL and while I was there I tried looking around for didgeridoos and I did find quite a few being sold at Central Market. But seriously, unless you really dying to get one, my advice is don't buy it there. Firstly, it's overpriced, and secondly the condition of all the didges there are horrible.
Anyway, few days ago I happened to be at Bras basar, and while checking out the new extension of Ranking sports and music I was surprised to find one didgeridoo at one corner of the shop. I would say the artwork, condition and the back pressure are definitely above average, and what came as another pleasant suprise was the price. $36! This is 3 times cheaper than those I saw at KL! I bought that, of course:) And I was told that they have got one more in their store. They have just brought in 2 from Indonesia. By the way, they didn't know what instrument that is and didn't know it's name, not until I told them:)
Before I left the shop, I was told that they would be bringing in more didgeridoos, and so I suggested that that might want to consider bringing in didgeridoo box too. Now I just hope that they would:)

This is good news! I'm in the market for a good low note one too!
